Mad Scientist

Slowly I am getting back into scrapbooking which is great! The only downside, I take WAY too many photos.

With this layout, I decided to go with a Mad Scientist approach. When little kids get to painting, drawing, gluing, and other crafty things it can get a bit chaotic and messy!

The inspiration for this layout is from DCWV's October Stack-a-holic challenge.
Even though the challenge is one page, I had to make a matching page for my son's scrapbook! Gotta even it out otherwise my OCD goes bonkers!
With this little chemistry set from Doodlebug Design, I used a clear velum to create the flasks.

Haunted Cottage

I am doing a three part posting. Every two weeks there will be a new cottage to show you the versatility that can be done with this English Cottage Kit from SVG Attic!

To begin with, who is excited for Halloween this year? The inspiration for this haunted house came to be when some neighbors up the road started assembling their yearly haunted house attraction.

The front of the cottage displays a friendly ghost who is riding the haunted house of the unfriendly ghosts!

The wicked witch has found herself in an unfortunate situation.
When this house is lit at night, the middle window displays a few secrets held within the walls of this old cottage.
 First side of the house
The back of the house has a little cemetery and creepy tree.
Notice the little cobwebs found throughout the house!
And the final side of the house

Now, turn the lights off and watch it come to life!!!

In each photo, the eyes are a different color from the rest of the lit up windows.

To achieve this effect, I used two different flame-less colored candles.

Tune back in on the 2nd for the next inspiration cottage!

Fall Bliss

The fall time is my favorite time of the year. The leaves, brisk air, pumpkin everything, hot apple cider by a fire, and so on!

I took the DCWV October Stack-a-holic challenge with a fall theme in mind.

I started out with just one card idea. But I made too many leaves, and well I had to use up the gorgeous leaves!

So I ended up with four cards!
Each card has some of the same elements.
 Sequins,
 burlap,
 leaves,
And the same string used in different ways.
Oh and lets not forget about the sparkly paper!
The leaves, pumpkins, and even this sunflower are all from the same four sheets of glitter paper. With the assistance of my eBrush though, I was able to form them into individual items.

A Spooktacular Day

Hello Beans. I have taken a small break from crafting, but I was able to get a few cards done here and there.

Today I bring you a card I made using the base card challenge from Die Cuttin' Divas Challenge #286.

The ghosts and tombstones are from Miss Kate Cuttables.
The 'boo' and 'spooky' subway art took the longest! I cannot tell you how many times I redesigned it!
The moon was cut in white paper and accented with a yellow sharpie and my eBrush.
Thank you for viewing! You can see other wonderful inspirations on Die Cuttin' Divas blog: http://diecuttindivas.blogspot.ca/
