Baby Cooper

The wonderful owners of SVG Attic have a new baby to celebrate this Christmas season! The I-team got together and decided to create some projects to help celebrate the arrival of baby Cooper! A big huge Congratulations to Mike and Kenzie!

For my card, I took the race car box card from the CG Box Cards file and modified it into a crib card in a box. I was going to leave it as is and do the race car theme, but I didn't have any paper I was happy with so I had to improvise!

A quick tutorial on how I changed one file into a crib file is posted below!

The little bear is actually a polar bear Snapdragon Snippets file, but I thought it made a cute teddy bear.

Conversion:

Step 1: Eliminate excess elements that will not be used.

Step 2: Using the slice tool, I took the flag and car off of the inserts.

Step 3: Create crib portion

 Eliminate the small score portion on both pieces

Step 4: Add in some shapes for fun details

Step 5: Insert crib slats ***Sugar tip: I aligned both pieces to line up slats equally on both pieces***

 Step 6: Create inserts

 After downsizing and figuring out the layout weld to the rectangle pieces

 And boom, crib card!
