Die Cuttin' Diva's Guest Designer

Hello all! I have the pleasure of guest designing for Die Cuttin' Diva's again. When I saw that butterfly was a theme option, I jumped on it. Butterfly's have always been a fascination for me so I decided to do a card and candy gift set.

I started with a Dreaming Tree Butterfly Favor Box file (free file found here) and some wonderful paper from American Crafts 'My Girl' paper pad .

 The box portion was very easy to make

Once the box was built and the top was on, it was easy to shape the butterfly's by pinching their wings together. Using the Xyron Mega Runner®  I was able to decorate the top of the box quickly.

I wanted the card to match the free Dreaming Tree butterfly box. I took the butterfly from the box and incorporated it into the card design.
