Hello all. This week the Xyron design team has partnered up with Newton's Nook to showcase some fun stamps and dies. Both Newton's Nook and Xyron have some goodies to give away to you. For Newton's Nook entry, check out their blog here. For Xyron's entry, check out their Facebook fanpage here.
Now Newton's Nook stamps and dies quickly flew to the top of stamps that I like to use. Their stamps come out clean, precise, and they are not squishy so the chances of stamping them too hard causing smearing is limited.
For my project I used Cuppa Cactus Stamps and Cuppa Cactus Dies. I also chose the What a Hoot stamp set for a later project.
To start with I stamped the images on plain white cardstock. Then I colored them with a few Spectrum Noir markers.
Next I grabbed the dies to run the colored images through my Sizzix Big ShotThen I stamped the sentiments on the appropriate cardstock
And finally began assembly!
I used both the Tape Runner and Xyron Mega Runner® for this set of cards.
